因生意太好
店面一家一家的開
叫做橋底辣蟹的原因
就因它原本是在鵝頸橋底下的大排檔
說到鵝頸橋底
個人覺得真的是蘊藏香港各種街邊文化的搖籃
像是著名的打小人
就在不遠橋的另一邊

香港人一般晚餐吃比較晚
大概七點多接近八點開始吃
(他們上班時間超長)
建議要避開人潮的話
可以盡量六點左右就拿位子
幾乎都不太用排隊比較多
餐廳內走一個雅緻的中餐廳路線
佔地三樓在香港可以算是寬敞的餐廳
每張桌子中間也不會很壅擠
用餐起來不覺得壓迫
網上購買的套餐一般有2人或4人份
若不夠吃也還能再加點
不過這天Tasha跟朋友來吃兩人套餐
內容有:
・橋底辣蟹(1隻)
・豉椒炒蜆
・粉絲蒜蓉蒸扇貝或聖子(2隻)
・魚湯浸時菜
・招牌炒飯
吃完覺得飽到不行啊
份量很充足
首先上桌的是鼓椒炒蜆
這不用說就是下飯聖品
表現中規中矩
沒多久之後很快就被掃得一乾二凈了
由於套餐內附有炒飯
所以這天就沒有叫白飯啦(香港餐廳白飯通常另外計價)
個人是不太懂炒飯之美
不過上桌的這盤算是粒粒分明
飯不會太濕潤那種喔
應該有通過各位炒飯專家嚴格的標準
粉絲蒜蓉蒸扇貝
這道是我在香港的愛菜
粉絲滿是蒜蓉、醬油的香味
再加上扇貝一起吃下
超超超超超級美味
最後就是今天的主角
橋底辣蟹!
原本想說兩人套餐一定是小小隻的螃蟹
結果有夠大!
新鮮度還不錯
且吃完後不覺得口渴
沒有味精放很重的感覺
跟我的手一樣大的的蟹腳
除了螃蟹很推薦以外
旁邊的蒜酥超超超下飯~
光是吃這個就可以配好幾碗飯
當然出來旅遊也不能餐餐大魚大肉
套餐內還很貼心的有魚湯浸時菜
像Tasha一樣吃不太了辣的話
記得點菜時可以跟大叔說螃蟹要微辣就好
但雖然這天都吃到噴火了
還是覺得很美味啊
兩千多塊台幣在香港餐廳吃蟹
還有扇貝、炒飯、青菜、炒蜆
的確是相當佛心才能有的價格

One of the gourmets you can’t miss is “Under Bridge fried spicy crab”.
Today Tasha will bring you to WAN CHAI Hong Kong personally and see how amazing it is.
This dish was originated from a food stall which was located under the Gooseneck Bridge,
Wan Chai and this is why they named it “Under Bridge”.
Speaking of the Gooseneck Bridge, I can say it is a cradle of many Hong Kong’s street cultures,
one worth to mention is the “Petty Person Hitting” just on the other side of the bridge.

Because the dish is so popular,
it attracted many Hong Kong’s movie stars and singers to dine in the restaurant.
You can see there’s always a mass of people queuing up at the entrance,
therefore I suggest everyone to make a package reservation online first.
When you got there, just show your reservation QR code to the waitress at the entrance,
then she will arrange your table straight after.
For the package, the dishes included the fried crab,
vegetables and fried rice etc. ,
you don’t even have to think what to order,
and most importantly they charged you with a discount price.

A very long que outside the Under Bridge spicy crab even in the weekdays
Hong Kong people usually having dinner time at around 7 to 8pm
(due to super long daily working hours)
to avoid queuing up with everybody else,
I suggest you get there at around 6pm.
The Interior of the restaurant runs with an elegant decoration,
it occupies 3 storied of the building,
spaces between tables are acceptable;
count it as “not too crowded” in Hong Kong.
When buying the package online,
there are options with 2 persons or 4 persons,
if there’s not enough, you can also make extra orders
Today, Tasha and a friend came for a 2 persons package, it included:
One Under Bridge spicy crab
Fried small clams with black bean sauce
Steamed razor clams / scallops with garlic sauce
Braised seasonal Vegetable in fish soup
Chef’s special fried rice
The portions are bigger than I expected so I was pretty full after the meal.
First came to the table was Fried small clams with black bean source,
this obviously is the perfect match with plain rice, not too bad,
but didn’t took us too long to finished it.
As I mentioned before,
the package included the fried rice so we didn’t order plain rice today
(if you order a bowl of rice in Hong Kong they’ll charged you with that)
I cannot comment too much on the fried rice because I really don’t know much of it
but I know one of the most important rule of fried rice is the rice must be dry,
and I guess this one will passed.
Steamed razor clams / scallops with garlic sauce
This is one of my favorite dish in Hong Kong
The vermicelli braised with garlic and soya sauce,
matched with the scallop, superb delicious.
The last one is the main dish today,
Under Bridge fried spicy crab
The size of the crab was much bigger than I thought!
It’s fresh and tasted good.
This dish is well deserved reputation,
not only just because its name but its taste,
it can be really spicy!!
